I am a graduate student in the Department of Philosophy at Rutgers University.

My philosophical interests are somewhat broad at this point. I am starting work on a dissertation that will touch upon the following topics:

  • Some questions about fundamental ontology – namely, issues surrounding the materialism/dualism/pluralism debate.
  • The debate between metaphysical realism and antirealism – i.e. the question whether there exists any “mind-independent” substances and what this mind-independence might amount to.
  • The debate between semantic realism and antirealism – i.e. the question whether there is a mind-independent property of propositions that is (or at least comes close to being) the referent of our terms ‘true’ and ‘truth’.

In the course of my studies, I have stumbled upon some important discoveries:

  • Knowledge is true belief
  • Meaning is in the head
  • There isn't anything it's like to be a bat
  • There is no right or wrong

And, last but not least,

  • Nothing exists

(P.S.) Don't worry: This does not happen to everybody at Rutgers...

Although jobs in philosophy do not exist (both literally and figuratively), I may need to get one some day. So - here's my curriculum vitae.
