i am currently at rutgers university, but will be starting as a lecturer in philosophy at the university of leeds this fall. my main research interests are in metaphysics, free will, the philosophy of language, and philosophical logic, although i also like to dabble a bit in certain areas of epistemology and the philosophy of mind.

my dissertation looks into various issues in metaontology (which tries to figure out what the heck ontologists think they're up to), and lately I've also been getting interested in what succor (if any) libertarians about free will can get from our best microphysics. check out some of my papers if you want more details.
